Library Media Center Rules of Behavior
BEHAVIOR Rights and Responsibilities: You have the right to come to your library media center and be able to do research, write papers, choose reading materials, or receive assistance in an atmosphere of learning. To ensure that your rights are respected, we ask all users of the library to follow these simple rules of behavior:
· quiet voices only · no vulgar language or profanity (nothing your grandmother shouldn’t hear) · student(s) must be reading/researching/studying most of the time · no yelling between tables (or across the room) · disruptive students will be removed (remember your kindergarten rules: keep your hands to yourselves and use six inch voices) · no games during school hours (chess available before and after school) · no eating or drinking (this includes gum and water) · no cell phone use (phones will be confiscated and delivered to the appropriate administrator) · no changing into sports clothes in the lavatories · no littering (garbage can near exit)
