Post Prom 2010

BHS Post Prom NEEDS

UNDERCLASSMAN PARENTS!!!

(and senior parents too!)

Why does the SENIOR Post Prom need underclassman parents?  We look for underclassman parents to get involved before they have seniors, this is so they can be involved longer, learn the ropes, they can help guide underclassman parents and they themselves can enjoy their year with their senior.

What is Post Prom?  It’s an alcohol and drug free party held at BHS after the prom for all seniors and their dates.  The focus of this event is to keep the students in a safe fun environment.  Activities include a hypnotist, carnival games, food, a casino and prizes for seniors at the end of the night.

When is Post Prom this year?  June 4th, 2010 from 12 midnight to 4 a.m. at Bunnell High School.

What could your job involve?  Attend meetings and help plan for the event, help with decorations both creating them and decorating that evening, Chaperone during the post prom, assist with the food area or clean up after it’s over in the morning.  We hold painting meetings as of January/February, so if you can paint in between the lines, we’d love to have you.

How do you get involved?  Call or e-mail Sherri Kelley at 375-6281 or s89hearts@sbcglobal.net.  Or you could just come to one of our monthly meetings to get involved, meetings are held at BHS, Room B111at 6:30 p.m. Please check the website to see when the first date is in October!. Hope to see you there!

SENIOR PARENTS, WE NEED YOU AS WELL!!!  There are still plenty of jobs for senior parents, you could help make decorations, get donations for gifts or food and if your child is comfortable with you chaperoning that evening, you could even do that too.

Even though it’s a senior prom, it takes volunteers from all the grades to have it come together. Underclassman students are also welcome to come paint or help decorate by  putting up decorations that evening.  The times of 12 midnight to 4 a.m. are strictly for the actual post prom...please know that there are many hours needed prior to the evening.  Especially if you aren’t a late night person.
