ART INSTITUTES – BEST TEEN CHEF COMPETITION


AWARDS:
1.      “Intern for a Day” at the Food Network kitchen
2.      Have dinner at Food Network chef’s restaurant
3.      Receive a library of Food Network Kitchen cookbooks
 
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
1.      Submit a completed Entry & Release form
2.      Submit a recipe in standardized recipe format
3.      Copy of current transcript
4.      250 word essay

ELIGIBILITY:
1.      Any student currently enrolled in grades 9 -12
2.      The candidate must have been actively involved in a volunteer activity in the last 12 months
3.      The activity had to have a significant, positive impact on race relations – broadly defined – in his/her school or community

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
•      Student must complete and mail application Part I
•      Part II is to be completed and mailed by supporter
